Focus

The workshop will provide an overview of efficient numerical techniques for solving Initial/Boundary-Value Problems governed by Partial Differential Equations with stochastic coefficients and data. Particular attention will be devoted to computationally intensive applications.

Hosting Institutions

The workshop will be held in the conference rooms at:
  • Dipartimento di Matematica, Politecnico di Torino
in the Torino main campus (corso Duca degli Abruzzi, 24). From the main entrance, pass the first court keeping on your right, then pass the sliding door entrance, and just after the stairs turn left: you will find an elevator, the Math. Department is at the third floor.
The meeting will start on Monday, May 10 at 2:30pm.


Registration

There is no registration fee to the workshop, but we kindly ask you to fill our on-line registration form before Friday, May 7 2010.


Accomodation

Here is a list of suggested hotel nearby the Politecnico (at most 20 minute walk, or 5-8 minute bus ride): Attendants should make their own reservation, mentioning the special agreement with Politecnico - Department of Mathematics. Due to several concurrent events in the city of Torino during the workshop, attendants are strongly invited to place their reservation as soon as possible!
