Porto Ercole can be reached from Orbetello Station which is placed on the railway line Roma-Grosseto-Pisa, about 150 Km north of Roma and 40 Km south of Grosseto. Orbetello Station is also directly connected to Firenze S.Maria Novella Station.
 
 

The international Airport Roma-Fiumicino is connected with the railway line Roma-Grosseto.
Airport/Roma Ostiense Station: Multi-stop trains (Metro) leave the airport every 15 minutes  to Roma Ostiense (direction Fara Sabina).
Airport/Roma Termini Station: Non stop trains leave the airport every 30 minutes.

The arrival station is Orbetello-Monte Argentario.

During the day (not later than 7:30 p.m.), a regular bus service (line nr. 2) connects Orbetello Station with Porto Ercole (Hotel Don Pedro is in front of the last bus stop). In the evening for connections to Hotel Don Pedro you can contact a taxi-driver (Mauro Fuso) dialing +39 335 5365374, informing him that you are a participant of the Summer School, in order to get a reduced fare.
