second announcement

The present Workshop is organized by G. Casnati and F. Galluzzi and supported by Dipartimento di Matematica-Politecnico di Torino and by Dipartimento di Matematica-Universita' degli Studi di Torino as part of the joint Project "Geometria delle varieta' algebriche e dei loro spazi di moduli" cofinanced by Italian MIUR. This Workshop is the fourth edition of a series organized periodically and jointly with collegues from Genova and Milano. The former editions took place in Torino (September 2008), Genova (March 2009) and Milano (November 2009).

These Workshops are intended to give both an overview on some recent results on Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry, and the opportunity to researchers working on similar topics to compare recent results and techniques. The outcome is to strengthen past and present collaborations, to give young researchers the opportunity to present their results, and to meet leading researchers in the aforementioned topics that are visiting at a Mathematical Department of a University in one of the three cities, or invited for the event. Similar joint seminars are well consolidated events in the international mathematical world. The scientific committee of all these G.T.M. Seminars is formed by A. Alzati, G. Casnati, F. Galluzzi, R. Notari, M.E. Rossi, G. Valla.
