M. Kreuzer: Border Basis Schemes.

Abstract. After recalling the definition of border bases and some of their basic properties,  we study the border basis scheme which parametrizes all ideals having a border basis with respect to a fixed order ideal of terms. We connect properties of this scheme to the theory of zero-dimensional subschemes of affine spaces and report on some important open problems in this area.
